Finally No. II...
Today`s the third windy and sunny day in a row. It seems as if finally the Dominican Republic remembered her designation. Seemingly the internet`s more powerful than any dance at all.
I`ve been teaching 8h and 8h riding during the last two days. That`s the best relation ever, because you earn a lot of money AND have insane rides. The day before yesterday I got really washed. The waves were at least double overhead and while doing a cutback on one of those monsters she snapped and I got soaked down. Because I lost completely any orientation, my kite crashed in the middle of this huge shorebreak. That meant worst case. 150m downwind there was a second shorebreak and I wasn`t able to realaunch the kite quickkly, because my 5th line messedd up completely. When I had nearly cleared up the chaos, I was right in the next break and got dragged of the waves smashing into my kite. Finally I was able to relaunch the kite with twisted lines and bodydrag towards the beach where one Dominican guy brought my board. THX for this!
While I was clearing up my lines, Mikael, my French colleague asked me, if I would like to give a lesson...in French. Totally confused I taught my first French lesson in life...
FULLSTOP!!!
Cheers,
Raffa
